Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procuring products and services, managing inventory, and ensuring that all logistical processes run smoothly. This role is critical to our organization's success, and we are looking for someone who can excel in this challenging and rewarding position.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Procure goods and services from suppliers and vendors in a timely and cost-effective manner.</li><li>Manage and maintain accurate inventory records.</li><li>Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on prices and product offerings.</li><li>Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms.</li><li>Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure that products are delivered on time and in good condition.</li><li>Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stock outs or overstocking.</li><li>Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Proven experience as a purchasing and inventory management or relative role</li><li>Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions</li><li>Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>A strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.</li><li>Outstanding organizational skills</li></ul>Qualifications:&middot; High School diploma or equivalent and/or related experience in a related field preferred.&middot; College courses in an associate field preferred.&middot; Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record&middot; Experience in purchasing, procurement, and sourcing&middot; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data.
