Municipal Waste Landfill Construction Survey CAD Tech

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Municipal Waste Landfill Construction Survey CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the planning, design, and construction of landfill projects by providing precise survey data and detailed CAD drawings. Your expertise will ensure that landfill construction complies with environmental regulations and safety standards while maintaining accuracy through advanced surveying techniques and CAD drafting skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable waste management solutions and infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare as-built drawings
• Build 3D data surfaces
• Assist in preparing various types of related reports and studies to secure permitting for projects and ensure compliance.
• Projects will include solid-waste-related site developlement projects
• This is primarily an in-office position with field assignments as required

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS software (ArcGIS), and GPS technology for data collection and drafting tasks.
• Experience with utility locating techniques to identify underground utilities prior to excavation or construction activities.
• Familiarity with 3D scanning technology for capturing detailed site topography.
• Ability to interpret schematics, construction drawings, and land survey data accurately.
• Excellent data analysis skills to evaluate survey results and support project planning efforts.

Pay: $20.00 - $32.50 per hour
