Job Overview We are seeking an experienced LC-MS/MS Senior Level Biochemist to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading advanced biochemical analyses, developing and optimizing assays, and supporting scientific research initiatives within a regulated laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in mass spectrometry, biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques, contributing to innovative projects in biotechnology and pharmaceutical development.Basic Purpose:The Biochemist position is a level II position for an individual with prior laboratory experience. The individual will perform routine and limited non-routine functions to aid in the preparation of and testing of samples.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:<ul><li>Prepare samples for analysis using various methods in accordance with ISO, NELAP, FDA, and GLP standard operating procedures.</li><li>Data handling and report preparation.</li><li>Evaluate data</li><li>Design, develop, and validate LC-MS/MS methods for quantifying biomolecules with high sensitivity and specificity.</li><li>Perform various tests for pharmaceutical grade products such as Microbiological Examination of Non Sterile Products, Antimicrobial Effectiveness, Stability, Sterility Test, Environmental Monitoring, etc.</li><li>Maintain compliance with GLP and CGMP regulations ensuring all experiments adhere to standards.</li><li>Operate high-performance liquid chromatography systems coupled with mass spectrometers for complex sample analysis.</li><li>Prepare detailed reports of results, troubleshoot assay issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on research projects.</li><li>Stay current with scientific literature and technological advancements in biochemistry, biotechnology, and laboratory practices.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field; Master&rsquo;s or PhD preferred.</li><li>Extensive laboratory experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related disciplines within a regulated environment.</li><li>Proven expertise in LC-MS/MS techniques along with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).</li><li>Familiarity with GLP/GMP/CGMP standards, ISO 17025 and FDA regulations governing laboratory practices.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
