Portfolio managementOur client is a well-established, dynamic and successful lender of short-term property finance working with property professionals throughout the UKWe are looking for a talented and proactive portfolio manager/Loan book Manager with good experience in a property environment to work independently and alongside the Managing Director and Financial Controller to manage a growing and diverse loan book/portfolio.Providing exceptional customer service and working closely with Clients.A key part of the role will be managing the recovery process and managing property where necessary which will involve liaising with Solicitors. LPA receivers and Property professionals/agents.The role will include supporting the director with the operational side of the business by producing statements, redemption statements and other financial reports.It is an interesting and diverse role which will involve the full loan book management and property portfolio management. A high level of Customer service is essential<ul><li>Developing and documenting procedures and policies to effectively monitor and communicate any overdue payments from borrowers in liaison with the managing director and financial controller</li><li>Monitor timely payments of loan interest </li><li>Property and property development experience</li><li>Liaising with Solicitors and professionals effectively managing the loan recovery process.</li><li>Managing loan book management software system</li><li>Monitor and managing loans which are over term</li><li>Portfolio management- working will Estate agents when required.</li><li>Property management</li><li>Ensuring files are kept up to date with latest correspondence</li><li>Ad hoc tasks as and when required</li></ul>Your skills will include: <ul><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Strong organisation skills</li><li>A team player</li><li>Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders</li><li>Excellent written skills and the ability to quickly build professional working relationships</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Confident and proactive approach</li><li>Experience using Excel and Word and Outlook</li></ul>Additional information:<ul><li>Location: Manchester - 100% office based </li><li>Salary: up to £65,000</li></ul>

UnderwriterBridging FinanceLondonWe are currently working with a fast-growing lender, who are looking for a Bridging Underwriter to join the team.The Sales and Underwriting teams are currently expanding, to ensure the business can grow and continue to deliver exceptional service.Your main responsibility will be to work within the Underwriting team, to ensure effective risk management and seamless drawdown of funds to borrowers.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Liaising with valuers, solicitors, and intermediaries</li><li>Ensuring all files are complete and accurate</li><li>Ensuring all deals comply with the Company's lending criteria</li><li>Completing all credit papers accurately</li><li>Projecting positivity, professionalism, and knowledge across all communications</li><li>Working closely with the whole business to ensure deals progress smoothly and efficiently</li></ul>Key skills / Experience:<ul><li>Analytical and methodical thinking</li><li>Ability to take ownership</li><li>Successful task management, to deliver high quality service</li><li>Previous underwriting experience within Financial Services (Ideally bridging finance)</li><li>Ability to communicate at all levels</li><li>A can-do attitude</li><li>A flexible approach to work</li><li>A confident communicator</li><li>Self-motivation</li></ul>
