Who we are:We&rsquo;re a scrappy climbing gear company with a passion for quality gear, sustainable practices, and supporting the climbing community. We have recently moved out of the garage and are growing. We make equipment for Bouldering, a specific discipline of rock climbing. Our products are used at crags all around the world and in some of the biggest competitions in the US and internationally. We are a tight knit group of 3 - 5 people that value making things with our hands, creating quality products, and experimenting with new ideas to make something new and exciting. Now, we&rsquo;re looking for a one-person marketing powerhouse to take our brand to the next grade.Our website: www.kinetikclimbing.comWho we are looking for:This is a solo, full-stack marketing role. You&rsquo;ll be in charge of all things brand and communications for our Direct to Consumer and Wholesale channels&mdash;from strategy refinement to execution. That means owning all communications supporting core business and new product launches &ndash; including content marketing (email, website, social), partnerships, community engagement, and the analytics to track performance.If you&rsquo;re a self-starter who can go from big-picture thinking to nitty-gritty doing&mdash;and you love climbing&mdash;you&rsquo;ll thrive here.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Brand &amp; Strategy: Refine and execute our marketing strategy with limited oversight. Build consistent messaging across channels.</li><li>Analytics: Track and report performance across platforms. Use insights to refine strategy.</li><li>Email: plan, develop, and execute, and analyze all emails (promotional, flow transactional)</li><li>Website Support: Manage and update website content. Launch new site features. Basic Shopify or CMS skills a plus.</li><li>Content Creation: Plan, create, and manage annual content calendar and production of original content (photo, video, copy) for email, blog, Instagram, YouTube. Includes oversight of content creators and ambassadors.</li><li>Community Engagement: Build relationships with climbers, ambassadors, and the climbing community online and in person.</li><li>Partnerships: Identify and manage collabs with gyms, events, and outdoor orgs.</li><li>Packaging: Refine strategy for and lead execution of new product packaging</li><li>Collateral: update brand materials as needed</li></ul>What Skills We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Have 3+ years of marketing experience for a product company (bonus if in outdoor goods)</li><li>Start up experience strongly preferred</li><li>Strong background in leveraging analytics to drive growth.</li><li>Experience with digital marketing, especially email, SEO, and content strategy</li><li>Strong copywriting skills</li><li>Proven ability to manage external contracts including content creators, graphic designers, ambassadors</li><li>Are a creative thinker and doer with strong organization and follow-through</li><li>Understand the climbing community and gear culture</li><li>Self-starter who thrives in creative, fast-paced environments</li><li>Excitement about building something from scratch and wearing multiple hats</li><li>Bonus photography and/or video skills a plus. (even better if you&rsquo;re comfortable shooting at the crag!)</li><li>Bonus visual design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)</li></ul>Who are youYou&rsquo;re not just a marketer&mdash;you&rsquo;re a builder.
