 The IT Infrastructure Architecture Specialist (SMP) is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing the organization&rsquo;s IT infrastructure architecture to ensure security, scalability, resilience, and alignment with business and enterprise architecture standards. The role provides expert-level leadership in infrastructure design across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Scope:
 
 
 
 The IT Infrastructure Architecture Specialist is responsible for the design, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization&rsquo;s IT infrastructure architecture. The role covers enterprise-wide infrastructure environments, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms, and ensures alignment with business needs, security requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Principal Duties:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Infrastructure Architecture &amp; Design:
 
 
 
 &bull; Define and maintain the IT infrastructure architecture roadmap, standards, and reference architectures.
 
 
 &bull; Design scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions across:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Data centers
 </li>
 <li>
 Cloud platforms (IaaS / PaaS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Hybrid environments
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 &bull; Evaluate and approve infrastructure designs for new systems and major changes.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 2. Security &amp; Risk Management
 
 
 
 &bull; Ensure infrastructure architecture complies with information security, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
 
 
 &bull; Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on:

 Network security
 </li>
 <li>
 Identity and access management
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 &bull; Identify and mitigate infrastructure-related risks.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 3. Enterprise Integration &amp; Systems Support
 
 
 
 &bull; Support enterprise systems (ERP, CAFM, HR, finance, core applications) from an infrastructure architecture perspective.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure proper integration with:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Active Directory / Identity platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring and logging platforms
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 4. Governance &amp; Standards
 
 
 
 &bull; Establish and enforce infrastructure architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in architecture review boards and technical governance forums.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and digital transformation initiatives.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 5. Performance, Availability &amp; Resilience
 
 
 
 &bull; Design infrastructure solutions with high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity in mind.
 
 
 &bull; Define backup, recovery, and resilience strategies.
 
 
 &bull; Optimize infrastructure performance, capacity, and cost.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 6. Stakeholder &amp; Vendor Management
 
 
 
 &bull; Work closely with:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Application teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Security teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Business stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Vendors and system integrators
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 7. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the management.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 A. EDUCATION:
 
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
 
 
 
 B. EXPERIENCE:
 
 
 
 A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
 
 
 
 C. LANGUAGE:
 
 
 
 Excellent command of oral and written English is required.
 
 
 
 D. Preferred Training and Certificates
 
 
 
 Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect)
 
 
 
 E. Critical Attributes and Competencies
