Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transport Technician to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. Experience in hospital settings, home and community care, or critical care transport is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, clinics, and community care facilities using appropriate medical transport equipment</li><li>Provide basic life support and emergency assistance as needed during transit</li><li>Assist with patient transfer, ensuring proper positioning and comfort throughout the journey</li><li>Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and family members to coordinate care and provide updates</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and safety of transport vehicles, adhering to infection control protocols</li><li>Document transport details accurately in accordance with organizational policies</li><li>Monitor patient condition during transit and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in home and community care or hospital settings is preferred</li><li>Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required</li><li>Experience in patient care, including handling sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism</li><li>Familiarity with hospital procedures and critical care transport is a plus</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role</li></ul>Pay: $23.05 - $27.75 per hourWork Location: In person
