Transport Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transport Technician to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, clinics, and community care facilities using appropriate medical transport equipment
• Provide basic life support and emergency assistance as needed during transit
• Assist with patient transfer, ensuring proper positioning and comfort throughout the journey
• Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and family members to coordinate care and provide updates
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of transport vehicles, adhering to infection control protocols
• Document transport details accurately in accordance with organizational policies
• Monitor patient condition during transit and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies

Experience

• Prior experience in home and community care or hospital settings is preferred
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
• Experience in patient care, including handling sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Familiarity with hospital procedures and critical care transport is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role

Pay: $23.05 - $27.75 per hour
