Kinsfolk Mortgage is a fast-growing mortgage brokerage seeking licensed Mortgage Loan Originators to join our team-based environment.This role focuses on working inbound leads, conducting pre-approvals, and guiding clients through the early stages of the loan process while collaborating closely with our operations team.We provide consistent inbound lead flow, strong operational support, and a structured system designed to help you convert leads and grow your production.This is a team-based role. You will be working company-provided leads while leveraging internal support to move files efficiently from application to closing.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Contact and follow up with inbound leads using calls, texts, and CRM follow-up</li><li>Respond quickly to new leads and maintain consistent communication</li><li>Take complete and accurate loan applications</li><li>Run AUS/DU and structure pre-approvals</li><li>Build rapport with clients and guide them through the mortgage process</li><li>Maintain consistent follow-up to keep clients engaged and moving forward</li><li>Maintain accurate notes and pipeline in Follow-Up Boss CRM</li><li>Work closely with internal team members (LOA and processing) to ensure clean and complete files</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Active NMLS license (required)</li><li>Mortgage experience preferred</li><li>Experience running DU/AUS and structuring loan scenarios</li><li>Strong communication and follow-up skills</li><li>Ability to build rapport and move clients through the process</li><li>Comfortable working in a team-based environment</li><li>Organized and able to manage pipeline effectively</li><li>Experience with Arive or similar LOS is a plus</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>Commission-based</li><li>0.50% (50 bps) on company-provided leads</li><li>1.00% (100 bps) on self-generated business</li><li>Uncapped earning potential</li><li>Recoverable draw available during ramp-up (60&ndash;90 days)</li></ul>Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of mortgage experience do you have?</li><li>What is the highest number of active loan files you have managed at one time? </li><li>Are you comfortable running AUS/DU independently and interpreting findings?</li><li>Are you confident calculating income for W2, variable, and self-employed borrowers?</li><li>Are you comfortable making multiple daily follow-up attempts (calls, texts) to engage and convert inbound leads?</li><li>Are you confident building rapport with clients and guiding them through the pre-approval process?</li><li>Have you used a CRM system to manage leads and follow-up (such as Follow-Up Boss or similar)?</li><li>Are you comfortable working within a team structure where leads are assigned and processes are standardized?</li><li>Are you comfortable working in a commission-based role with a recoverable draw during ramp-up?</li><li>Are you willing to work some weekends? </li><li>Please provide your active NMLS license number: </li></ul>Work Location: Remote
