Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Probate Paralegal to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple files independently, and a client-focused mindset.Responsibilities<ul><li>Draft probate pleadings and filings, including petitions, inventories, accounts, and closing documents</li><li>Draft correspondence and answer phone calls</li><li>Prepare and file documents with the Register in Probate and circuit courts</li><li>Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court personnel</li><li>Assist in trust administration matters</li><li>Coordinate asset valuation and marshaling</li><li>Prepare deeds and related real estate documents as part of estate administration</li><li>Maintain case management systems and track deadlines</li><li>Assist attorneys with hearings and client meetings</li><li>Assist in the preparation of tax returns</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of probate or estate administration experience preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of tax laws that impact estate administration</li><li>Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience</li><li>Familiarity with court e-filing systems</li><li>Strong drafting and proofreading skills</li><li>Ability to manage deadlines and work independently</li><li>Professional communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management software is a plus</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>401k Matching</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented environment</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
