Kiwi's Clubhouse, the leader in creative, flexible childcare, has opened a brand new center in Sunbury! We are seeking a experienced and proactive Daycare Teacher to join our team. This position will be split between working with children in the classroom (70%) and performing reception duties working with parents and the management team (30%). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the center in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the management team as well as the classroom teachers. This position requires outstanding communication abilities, a high level of personal responsibility and a willingness to help where and when you are needed.This position requires flexible availability (between 7am -6pm, M-F) as part of the duties will be to help open or close the center on rotating days.Responsibilities<ul><li>Ensuring a safe, engaging classroom environment while working in the childcare classrooms</li><li>Following the policies set by Kiwi's Clubhouse and Ohio DCY to maintain the highest quality of care</li><li>Customer service and reception responsibilities</li><li>Ensuring phone calls, voicemails and emails are answered in a timely and regular manner</li><li>Tours and Program Enrollment</li><li>Keeping center information to date</li><li>Support classroom teachers and ensure they have what is needed</li><li>Work with Director and Assistant Director to ensure parent confidence and provide outstanding communication and service</li><li>Providing training in classrooms</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in childcare with a desire to grow</li><li>Proficient in cash handling procedures</li><li>Proficient with computers (Microsoft Office, email, ect.)</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail</li><li>Demonstrate professionalism and competence in a fast past setting</li><li>A strong desire to serve out families and create lasting parent satisfaction</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>Minimum one year experience working in a child care setting or other professional setting with children</li><li>Minimum of High School diploma required - CDA or Associate's degree preferred</li></ul>We are a growing childcare company who love to promote our team from within!
