Daycare Teacher/Receptionist

Kiwi's Clubhouse, the leader in creative, flexible childcare, has opened a brand new center in Sunbury! We are seeking a experienced and proactive Daycare Teacher to join our team. This position will be split between working with children in the classroom (70%) and performing reception duties working with parents and the management team (30%). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the center in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the management team as well as the classroom teachers. This position requires outstanding communication abilities, a high level of personal responsibility and a willingness to help where and when you are needed.

This position requires flexible availability (between 7am -6pm, M-F) as part of the duties will be to help open or close the center on rotating days.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe, engaging classroom environment while working in the childcare classrooms
• Following the policies set by Kiwi's Clubhouse and Ohio DCY to maintain the highest quality of care
• Customer service and reception responsibilities
• Ensuring phone calls, voicemails and emails are answered in a timely and regular manner
• Tours and Program Enrollment
• Keeping center information to date
• Support classroom teachers and ensure they have what is needed
• Work with Director and Assistant Director to ensure parent confidence and provide outstanding communication and service
• Providing training in classrooms

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare with a desire to grow
• Proficient in cash handling procedures
• Proficient with computers (Microsoft Office, email, ect.)
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in a fast past setting
• A strong desire to serve out families and create lasting parent satisfaction

Education and Experience

• Minimum one year experience working in a child care setting or other professional setting with children
• Minimum of High School diploma required - CDA or Associate's degree preferred
