We believe in paying every team member for their valuable contributions, fostering a positive work environment that promotes growth and skill development.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials.</li><li>Prepare roofing surfaces by removing old materials, cleaning debris, and ensuring proper framing and sheathing.</li><li>Measure and cut roofing materials accurately according to project blueprints and schematics.</li><li>Work safely at heights, following all safety protocols including the use of harnesses and fall protection equipment.</li><li>Support the setup of scaffolding, staging, and other construction site logistics to ensure efficient workflow.</li><li>Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other tradespeople to coordinate project tasks seamlessly.</li><li>Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, plywood, and other roofing components.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, chisels) and power tools (nail guns, drills).</li><li>Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate project execution.</li><li>Knowledge of roofing techniques including shingling, metal roofing, flat roof systems, and restoration methods.</li><li>Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assist in material planning and job costing.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation.</li><li>Basic understanding of related trades such as framing carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, plumbing integration, welding, tile laying, and concrete forming.</li><li>Experience with construction site safety practices and adherence to OSHA standards is highly valued.
