JOB DESCRIPTIONKoehler Books, a Virginia Beach-based book publisher, seeks a talented book designer to assist with various aspects of cover design and layout. An ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communications skills and mastery of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suites. Those best suited for this job must be creative, collaborative, personable, trustworthy, and have a demonstrated skill as a designer, with an emphasis on cover design and layouts and a good use of typography.A college degree in fine art or graphic design is preferred. This is a full time remote job at 40 hours/week. Starting salary of $38,000/year.Success will be measured by technical and creative skills, plus the ability to problem solve.
