The Training Specialist / Instructional Designer develops and maintains the enterprise curriculum library that supports AI and RPA training across all Air Combat Command wings. This is not a mobile training delivery role. This is the content production engine that enables two Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) operations to deliver consistent, high-quality instruction across 20+ wings spanning NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and AFSCI environments.
 
Owns three critical functions:Master Curriculum Library: 
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain all enterprise training content (self-paced modules, VILT session guides, Train-the-Trainer certification packages, assessment instruments)</li>
</ul>
LMS Administration: 
<ul>
<li>Manage the Learning Management System, user enrollments, completion tracking, reporting, and integration with the Token and License Management System (TLMS)</li>
</ul>
Train-the-Trainer Coordination: 
<ul>
<li>Develop and deliver Train-the-Trainer certification programs that create sustainable training capacity at each ACC wing</li>
<li>This position ensures curriculum development and LMS operations run in parallel with no single-point-of-failure. When MTTs deploy, when VILT sessions launch, when wings request training materials, the content is ready, current, and accessible.</li>
</ul>
Essential Job Functions: 
Enterprise Curriculum Library Development & Maintenance
 <ul>
<li>Design and develop all enterprise training content using the ADDIE methodology (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)</li>
<li>Create and maintain self-paced digital learning modules covering:</li>
<li>AI and RPA fundamentals</li>
<li>Platform-specific instruction for AskSage and other approved tools</li>
<li>Responsible AI ethics briefs</li>
<li>Security awareness and data governance requirements</li>
<li>Develop VILT session guides with facilitator scripts, slide decks, demonstration scenarios, and interactive exercises</li>
<li>Create Train-the-Trainer certification packages including all course materials, facilitation guides, assessment rubrics, and platform administration guidance</li>
<li>Maintain separate curriculum versions for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and AFSCI classification levels</li>
<li>Update training materials within 30 days of any identified knowledge gap (tracked as mandatory KPI)</li>
<li>Version control all curriculum materials with change logs and approval records</li>
</ul>
LMS Administration & Integration: 
<ul>
<li>Administer the Learning Management System (DAF365 or Government-approved equivalent) across all classification levels</li>
<li>Manage user enrollments, course assignments, and completion tracking for ACC personnel command-wide</li>
<li>Configure LMS integration with the Token and License Management System (TLMS) to enforce training-before-access requirements</li>
<li>Generate and maintain training completion reports by wing, directorate, and individual user</li>
<li>Troubleshoot LMS technical issues and coordinate with platform vendors as needed</li>
<li>Ensure LMS availability and performance meet QASP standards</li>
<li>Maintain audit-ready training records for compliance verification</li>
</ul>
Train-the-Trainer Certification Coordination: 
<ul>
<li>Design and deliver Train-the-Trainer certification programs for wing-level personnel</li>
<li>Coordinate certification delivery during Mobile Training Team wing visits</li>
<li>Assess candidate qualifications and certify trainers based on documented competency standards</li>
<li>Maintain a registry of certified wing trainers with certification dates and renewal requirements</li>
<li>Provide ongoing support and refresher training to certified wing trainers</li>
<li>Track Train-the-Trainer program effectiveness and adjust certification standards as needed</li>
</ul>
Data-Driven Continuous Improvement: 
<ul>
<li>Review monthly service desk data to identify recurring knowledge gaps and training deficiencies within 5 business days of each report</li>
<li>Analyze training completion rates, assessment scores, and user feedback to identify curriculum improvement opportunities</li>
<li>Track time from knowledge gap identification to updated curriculum deployment as a mandatory performance metric</li>
<li>Coordinate with Help Desk Analysts, AI/RPA developers, and Mobile Training Teams to incorporate operational lessons learned</li>
<li>Participate in quarterly lessons-learned sessions to inform curriculum updates</li>
</ul>

 Provide direct nursing care within the scope of services defined by Koniag Operations Services, LLC for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Health Unit to include basic occupational health care, personalized health counseling, and appropriate medical and wellness referrals for clients presenting in the occupational health center or outreach event for occupational health services.

 Provides immunizations according to KGS policies, SOPs and standing orders

 Provide non-emergency care to clients according to RN protocols and under the direction of Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs)
 </li>

 Administers topical, oral, intravenous, or intramuscular medications
 </li>
 <li>
 Responds to emergency calls when required and renders emergency services as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Assures personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies
 </li>
 <li>
 Establishes and monitors appropriate level of care for clinic patients
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures timely and accurate documentation of patient status and patient care activities including treatments, procedures, and medications prescribed
 </li>
 <li>
 Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
 </li>
 <li>
 Comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting a patient's confidentiality
 </li>
 <li>

 Participate in Quality Assurance activities, data analysis and review to make improvements within clinic operations

 Report site-specific problems to the Clinic Nurse Manager (e.g., staffing difficulties, supply issues, environment of care hazards, onsite operational emergencies, etc.) in a timely manner
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 At least two (2) years' experience in occupational health or related experience such as public
 </li>
 <li>
 health/community health, outpatient clinic, emergency department or ambulatory healthcare, or physician office nursing
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task; ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Superior ability to write routine reports and correspondence
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Minimum Education Requirements Certification Licensure Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Graduation from NLN accredited school of nursing (AD, or BSN)
 </li>
 <li>
 Active RN licensure in the state for which they are hired, compact license preferred (NLC)
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic Cardiac Life Suppo1t (BLS) training and possess current certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
 </li>
 <li>
 Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) preferred
