We are committed to fostering a positive work atmosphere where your skills can thrive and grow.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring an aseptic environment following infection control protocols.</li><li>Take dental X-rays and other medical imaging to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.</li><li>Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Support patients by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing questions to foster comfort and trust.</li><li>Maintain clinical supplies inventory, order materials as needed, and ensure all equipment including 3D scanners is properly maintained.</li><li>Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.</li><li>Document medical coding and update medical records accurately for billing and insurance purposes.</li><li>Adhere to strict infection control standards using proper aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety at all times.</li><li>Collaborate with the dental team on patient care plans involving pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics, or other specialties as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and medical terminology.</li><li>Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools proficiently.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.</li><li>Certification in dental assisting or related fields preferred; additional training in pediatrics or specialized areas like prosthodontics is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to perform vital signs assessment and support pediatric dentistry procedures confidently.
