Koss Remodeling &ndash; Central Illinois Full-Time | In-Person RoleKoss Remodeling is a fast-growing, residential remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, interior renovations, and full home transformations. We are expanding our design department and are looking for a talented, detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team.About the RoleAs our Interior Designer, you will work directly with clients to design beautiful, functional spaces&mdash;everything from complete kitchen transformations to bathroom remodels to full interior layouts. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where your creativity, organization, and communication skills will directly impact the success of each project.You will be responsible for:Client Collaboration<ul><li>Meeting with clients in-home or in-office to understand goals, style, preferences, and project scope</li><li>Presenting design concepts, material boards, renderings, and finalized design layouts</li><li>Guiding clients through selections to ensure cohesion, functionality, and budget alignment</li></ul>Design Responsibilities<ul><li>Fully designing kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and general interior spaces</li><li>Creating floor plans, elevations, and full 3D renderings (experience with design software is a major plus)</li><li>Developing finish schedules, mood boards, product selections, and layout drawings</li><li>Working closely with our production team to ensure designs are practical, functional, and buildable</li></ul>Material Procurement &amp; Logistics<ul><li>Sourcing all materials including cabinetry, tile, flooring, countertops, fixtures, hardware, lighting, etc.</li><li>Purchasing materials and managing all order tracking</li><li>Coordinating delivery schedules, pickups, and returns with field staff and vendors</li><li>Ensuring all materials are on-site and verified before installation begins</li></ul>Project Coordination<ul><li>Maintaining communication with project managers and crew leads</li><li>Ensuring all design documents &amp; selections are clear, organized, and ready for production</li><li>Making adjustments or revisions as needed throughout the project timeline</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Proven experience in residential interior design&mdash;specifically kitchens &amp; bathrooms</li><li>Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and current design trends</li><li>Ability to create professional 3D renderings (Chief Architect, SketchUp, Cedreo, or similar software preferred)</li><li>Excellent client communication skills and presentation skills</li><li>Strong organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced design/build environment</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license (client visits required)</li></ul>Bonus Skills<ul><li>Experience working with a remodeling or construction company</li><li>Knowledge of cabinetry design (ProKitchen, 2020 Design, or similar)</li><li>Understanding of building codes, layouts, and practical construction methods</li><li>Vendor relationships or material-procurement experience</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive pay (salary or hourly based on experience)</li><li>Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company</li><li>A supportive, energetic team culture</li><li>Real creative freedom&mdash;your designs will shape entire homes</li><li>Ability to contribute to some of the most exciting remodels in Central Illinois</li></ul>Pay: $52,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
