Job Description &ndash; Senior Purchase Executive (Chemical Industry)Industry: Chemical Manufacturing Experience: 5&ndash;8 Years CTC: ₹7,00,000 &ndash; ₹8,00,000 per annum Location: Savli , VadodaraKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, solvents, intermediates, packaging materials, utilities, and engineering spares for chemical manufacturing operations.</li><li>Develop and maintain vendor base; negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and long-term contracts.</li><li>Ensure cost optimization through strategic sourcing, alternate vendor development, and bulk negotiations.</li><li>Coordinate with Production, QA, R&amp;D, Stores, and Finance teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.</li><li>Handle import procurement (if applicable), including vendor coordination, documentation, and liaison with CHA.</li><li>Ensure compliance with chemical safety norms, MSDS, regulatory requirements, and company procurement policies.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels, consumption trends, and lead times to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.</li><li>Prepare purchase budgets, MIS reports, vendor performance evaluations, and monthly procurement summaries.</li><li>Resolve supplier-related issues related to quality, delivery delays, or shortages.</li><li>Support audits and ensure documentation as per ISO / GMP / EHS standards.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of chemical raw materials &amp; industry supply chain</li><li>Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills</li><li>Understanding of pricing trends, commodity markets, and cost structures</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / ERPNext)</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills</li><li>Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹5,814.69 - ₹7,285.54 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
