Warehouse head

cGMP & Compliance

• Overall responsible for ensuring cGMP compliance across all warehouse operations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and statutory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical/API warehousing.
• Conduct regular warehouse and plant rounds to ensure GMP, safety, and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
• Maintain and update all statutory registers and records as per applicable laws.
• Liaison with statutory and regulatory authorities during audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee receipt, verification, labeling, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packing materials, solvents, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Verify and authorize all incoming and outgoing materials as per approved procedures.
• Ensure stock reconciliation and accurate inventory control of finished goods, raw materials, and packing materials.
• Monitor and control material movements to avoid mix-ups, contamination, or shortages.
• Ensure timely and efficient dispatch of finished goods in coordination with logistics.

Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain accurate inventory records (physical and system-based).
• Ensure proper material traceability, batch-wise segregation, and status labeling.
• Review and approve warehouse-related documentation including GRNs, issue notes, stock registers, and dispatch documents.

Manpower & Training

• Plan manpower requirements and ensure optimal utilization of warehouse personnel.
• Assign work schedules and define roles and responsibilities for warehouse staff.
• Impart warehouse SOP and GMP training to staff and ensure training is conducted as per approved schedules.
• Monitor performance, discipline, and adherence to safety practices.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Monitor and enforce safety precautions during handling and storage of materials, solvents, and hazardous substances.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and safe material handling practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QA, Logistics, and Marketing departments to ensure smooth material flow and production support.
• Follow up with logistics teams to ensure on-time and compliant dispatch of finished goods.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cGMP, regulatory compliance, and inventory control
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good understanding of ERP/WMS systems
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of safety and statutory requirements
• Preferred candidate from API industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
