Job Title: AccountantDepartment: Finance &amp; Accounts Reporting To: Finance Manager / Director Location: Head Office (with coordination with sites &amp; showroom/workshop)Job PurposeTo manage accounting, statutory compliance, billing, and financial controls for both Motors (sales, service, spares) and Construction/Project operations, ensuring accurate books of accounts and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities1. Accounting &amp; Bookkeeping<ul><li>Maintain books of accounts in Tally/ERP for motors and construction divisions.</li><li>Record daily transactions: sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.</li><li>Maintain ledgers, trial balance, and monthly closing.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements, cash books, and credit cards.</li></ul>2. Motors / Automobile Accounting<ul><li>Accounting of vehicle sales, service invoices, and spare parts billing.</li><li>Track receivables from customers, financiers, and insurers.</li><li>Handle incentives, discounts, warranty claims, and dealer commissions.</li><li>Maintain stock accounting for vehicles and spares.</li><li>Reconcile workshop/job card billing with collections.</li></ul>3. Construction / Project Accounting<ul><li>Accounting of project-wise expenses and cost centers.</li><li>Verification of vendor bills against PO, GRN, and work completion.</li><li>Maintain RA bills, advances, retention money, and deductions.</li><li>Track project budgets, cost overruns, and profitability.</li><li>Support site teams for billing and documentation.</li></ul>4. GST &amp; Statutory Compliance<ul><li>Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).</li><li>Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers.</li><li>Handle e-invoicing and e-way bills.</li><li>Ensure TDS compliance under Income Tax and GST.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants for statutory filings.</li></ul>5. Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable<ul><li>Process vendor payments as per agreed credit terms.</li><li>Follow up for outstanding receivables.</li><li>Prepare aging reports for debtors and creditors.</li><li>Control advances to vendors, sites, and employees.</li></ul>6. Inventory &amp; Fixed Assets<ul><li>Maintain inventory records for vehicles, spares, and construction materials.</li><li>Coordinate physical stock verification.</li><li>Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation.</li></ul>7. MIS &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Prepare monthly MIS: P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow.</li><li>Generate division-wise and project-wise reports.</li><li>Support management in financial planning and audits.</li></ul>8. Audit &amp; Controls<ul><li>Assist internal and statutory auditors.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal policies and SOPs.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and records.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Accuracy of books and timely closures</li><li>GST &amp; statutory compliance with zero penalties</li><li>Receivable collection efficiency</li><li>Vendor payment cycle adherence</li><li>Inventory reconciliation accuracy</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>B.Com / M.Com</li><li>CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred)</li><li>3&ndash;6 years of experience in automobile and/or construction accounting</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of Tally, Excel, ERP systems</li><li>Sound understanding of GST, TDS, compliance</li><li>Ability to handle multi-business accounting</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Good coordination and communication skills</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Experience in automobile dealership / service center</li><li>Experience in construction / contracting / interior fit-out projects</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From ₹25,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Food provided</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In personExpected Start Date: 05/01/2026
