Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Prelitigation Assistant to join our legal support team. This vital role involves managing a variety of administrative and project coordination tasks to streamline prelitigation processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, case management skills, and a passion for supporting individuals in need. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal environment while developing your prelitigation and litigation skills.Duties<ul><li>Maintaining a pre-litigation case load of personal injury cases ranging from minor automobile collisions to catastrophic injuries and death.</li><li>Excellent knowledge in obtain medical and billing records.</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in preparing demand letters.</li><li>Must be able to multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and have excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Willing to work in a busy team environment.</li><li>Maintaining client database and client files.</li><li>Calculating and calendaring case related deadlines.</li><li>Proficient in resolving property damage claims.</li><li>Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, opposing party, and/or third parties.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook. Knowledge of CasePeer a plus</li><li>Manage all aspects of office administration related to prelitigation cases, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized case files both physically and electronically.</li><li>Assist with client communication via phone, email, and written correspondence, ensuring professional phone etiquette and prompt responses.</li><li>Prepare accurate documentation through proofreading, transcription, and data entry to ensure all case-related materials are clear and error-free.</li><li>Facilitate project coordination by tracking deadlines, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely case progression.</li><li>Handle front desk responsibilities as needed, including multi-line phone system management, greeting visitors, and managing office supplies to maintain a smooth office environment.</li><li>Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning documents, and maintaining organized records for easy retrieval.</li><li>Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and assisting with special projects as assigned.</li><li>Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 years Plaintiff Personal Injury experience required.</li></ul>Benefits:Paid Time Off, Holidays, 401K/Profit Share and Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
