The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in a broad range of HR functions including general HR support, recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, compensation, performance management, employee relations and benefits administration.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide day-to-day &ldquo;hands-on&rdquo; support to employees and managers in the handling of all human resource related activities which may include recruitment, on-boarding, benefits, employee relations, fielding employee questions or concerns, communication and understanding policies and procedures.</li><li>
Lead and continuously improve the onboarding experience, ensuring new employees feel welcomed, informed, and connected from day one.</li><li>
Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment and selection efforts, helping to attract and retain top talent.</li><li>
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee data within the HRIS system and oversee all related employee lifecycle processes.</li><li>
Support compensation and benefits programs, including data analysis, benchmarking, and communication to employees.</li><li>
Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, providing guidance and coaching to employees and managers while fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.</li><li>
Facilitate or participate in investigations, performance discussions, and other employee relations activities with professionalism and empathy.</li><li>
Partner with leadership to implement employee engagement strategies that strengthen connection, recognition, and career development.</li><li>
Support organizational culture initiatives, helping to build a workplace where collaboration, accountability, and innovation are valued.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies while maintaining a balanced people-first approach.</li><li>
Review, develop, and update HR policies and procedures to support company goals and evolving business needs.</li><li>
Coordinate compliance-related programs such as mandatory training, safety, ethics, and anti-harassment initiatives.</li><li>
Conduct research and analysis to inform HR strategy, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance processes and employee experience.</li><li>
Draft and manage employment documentation including offer letters, severance agreements, and policy acknowledgments.</li><li>
Regularly review and update job descriptions to reflect current responsibilities and align with organizational design.</li><li>
Coordinate all personnel changes, updating personnel files and the HRIS</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>7+ years of progressive HR experience; Must have previous HR experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical or medical device industries</li><li>
BA in Business, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent.</li><li>
Experience with Paylocity HRIS preferred.</li><li>
Experience with administration of HR programs in the function of employment,</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and partner effectively across all levels of the organization.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance business needs and employee experience.</li><li>
Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
High attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.</li><li>
