 The following announcement is for a position within the Kuwait National Space Research Center (KNSRC), a department within KFAS.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 4 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud services (preferably Azure).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in English and Arabic.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA, Cisco, or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in research, academic, or technology-focused organizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with Linux systems and scripting is an advantage.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, firewalls, switches, and routers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and enterprise software applications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems and platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD).
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform system updates, patches, backups, and recovery operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer and support cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud services as required).
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement and maintain IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, access control, and data protection.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor systems for security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support compliance with institutional IT policies, data protection, and information security standards.
 </li>
 </ul>

 Copy of Civil ID.
 </li>
 <li>
 Certificate of insured service periods issued by the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS), dated on or after the announcement date.

 Academic certificate(s) and transcript(s), including the final graduation GPA.
 </li>
 <li>
 Equivalency of the academic certificate(s) from the Ministry of Higher Education, and Authentication of the transcript(s) for graduates of universities other than Kuwait University.
 </li>
