Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various structures, equipment, and systems to ensure functionality and longevity. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance.</li><li>Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues or potential problems.</li><li>Repair or replace damaged or faulty components and systems, including doors, windows, flooring, and fixtures.</li><li>Assist in the construction and renovation of buildings, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.</li><li>Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.</li><li>Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.</li><li>Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.</li><li>Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Maintenance/Construction Worker or similar role.</li><li>Solid understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.</li><li>Proficiency in using hand and power tools.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications are a plus.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
