Property Maintenance/construction

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various structures, equipment, and systems to ensure functionality and longevity. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues or potential problems.
• Repair or replace damaged or faulty components and systems, including doors, windows, flooring, and fixtures.
• Assist in the construction and renovation of buildings, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance/Construction Worker or similar role.
• Solid understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
