This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on outdoor spaces while fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.Duties<ul><li>Supervise daily landscaping and groundskeeping operations, including lawn care, gardening, tree care, irrigation, and general maintenance tasks</li><li>Coordinate and assign work to grounds staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance</li><li>Manage scheduling of irrigation systems, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and seasonal clean-up activities</li><li>Train team members in horticultural techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation</li><li>Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized services like tree care or landscape installation</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture or related fields</li><li>Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide teams</li><li>Skilled in tree care techniques including pruning and health assessment</li><li>Familiarity with irrigation systems setup and troubleshooting</li><li>Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping tools and equipment</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively</li><li>Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders</li></ul>This role is perfect for someone passionate about outdoor environments who thrives on leading teams to deliver exceptional grounds management.
