Duties

• Supervise daily landscaping and groundskeeping operations, including lawn care, gardening, tree care, irrigation, and general maintenance tasks
• Coordinate and assign work to grounds staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance
• Manage scheduling of irrigation systems, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and seasonal clean-up activities
• Train team members in horticultural techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation
• Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized services like tree care or landscape installation

Skills

• Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture or related fields
• Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide teams
• Skilled in tree care techniques including pruning and health assessment
• Familiarity with irrigation systems setup and troubleshooting
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping tools and equipment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders
