The following position will be available in La Grange School District 105 for the summer of 2026:<br>
<br>
<b>Position:</b> Technology Summer Support</div><div></div><div><br>
This is an entry-level summer position. Training will be provided, and students with an interest in technology are encouraged to apply.</div><div><b>
Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Experience supporting hardware and software in Windows, Chromebook, and iPad environments preferred</li><li>
Familiarity with Active Directory, mobile device management (MDM), or Google Admin tools preferred</li><li>
Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools preferred</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>
Clear and effective communication skills</li><li>
Basic knowledge of Chromebook and Windows setup, operation, and minor repair preferred</li><li>
Reliable transportation to and between district buildings as needed</li><li>
Ability to lift and move computer equipment and related furniture up to 50 lbs, and work in environments that may be loud or dusty, with or without reasonable accommodation</li></ul><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Assist with machine installation and configuration</li><li>
Assist with imaging of desktops and laptops</li><li>
Perform basic maintenance on computers, printers, and projectors</li><li>
Provide basic troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, iPads, and printers</li><li>
Support preparation of mobile device carts, including cable management, device labeling, and organization</li><li>
Assist with maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting technology equipment</li><li>
Conduct basic maintenance checks of devices and workstations</li><li>
Assist with installation and maintenance of hardware and software</li><li>
Support inventory tracking of technology equipment across buildings.</li></ul><div><b><br>
Other:</b> Attend to other duties as assigned by the administration.<br>
<br>
<b>Rate of pay:</b> $15.50 hourly<br>
