The following position will be available in La Grange School District 105 for the summer of 2026:

Position: Technology Summer Support

This is an entry-level summer position. Training will be provided, and students with an interest in technology are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

Experience supporting hardware and software in Windows, Chromebook, and iPad environments preferred
Familiarity with Active Directory, mobile device management (MDM), or Google Admin tools preferred
Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Clear and effective communication skills
Basic knowledge of Chromebook and Windows setup, operation, and minor repair preferred
Reliable transportation to and between district buildings as needed
Ability to lift and move computer equipment and related furniture up to 50 lbs, and work in environments that may be loud or dusty, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities:

Assist with machine installation and configuration
Assist with imaging of desktops and laptops
Perform basic maintenance on computers, printers, and projectors
Provide basic troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, iPads, and printers
Support preparation of mobile device carts, including cable management, device labeling, and organization
Assist with maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting technology equipment
Conduct basic maintenance checks of devices and workstations
Assist with installation and maintenance of hardware and software
Support inventory tracking of technology equipment across buildings.

Other: Attend to other duties as assigned by the administration.

Rate of pay: $15.50 hourly
