Position: Head BaristaLocation: Muttrah Corniche, Muscat, Oman Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: ImmediateKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead daily coffee bar operations and maintain exceptional beverage quality.</li><li>Train, mentor, and supervise baristas to uphold La Qahwa&rsquo;s coffee standards.</li><li>Develop and refine drink recipes, including signature beverages and seasonal specials.</li><li>Calibrate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment daily.</li><li>Maintain inventory and manage coffee bean orders, equipment maintenance, and supply levels.</li><li>Work closely with management on caf&eacute; workflow, menu development, and customer experience.</li><li>Ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.</li><li>Uphold La Qahwa&rsquo;s brand philosophy of combining Arab hospitality with modern caf&eacute; culture.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of specialty coffee experience, including leadership or training roles.</li><li>Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, alternative brewing methods, and milk texturing.</li><li>Experience with high-end espresso machines (Nuova Simonelli, La Marzocco, or equivalent).</li><li>Excellent communication and team leadership skills.</li><li>Passion for innovation, customer interaction, and quality presentation.</li><li>Ability to train and motivate a diverse team.</li><li>Must have attention to detail, creativity, and a genuine love for coffee culture.</li></ul>We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.</li><li>Accommodation and meals provided.</li><li>Opportunity to develop and grow within an expanding hospitality group.</li><li>Exposure to a unique caf&eacute; concept combining heritage, design, and specialty coffee.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: RO100.000 - RO250.000 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Experience in working with different types of coffee beans and equipments, tools </li><li>Experience of working in Gulf Nations, if so where and how long ?</li><li>Experience of working in Oman, if so where ?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li> Senior Barista / Barista: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Preferred)</li><li>Arabic (Preferred)</li><li>Hindi (Preferred)</li></ul>
