Job Title: 2 &amp; 3 Yr Mixed Age Room Associate Teacher Location: LaSalle Catholic Early Learning Center Reports To: Director Employment Type: Full-TimePosition Overview: We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable Childcare Associate to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the emotional, physical, and developmental needs of toddlers and preschoolers. This role requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for providing quality care in a safe and engaging setting.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide responsive, individualized care to each child, including diapering and toilet training.</li><li>Maintain a consistent daily routine that includes developmentally appropriate activities to encourage growth in motor, language, cognitive, and social-emotional skills.</li><li>Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in accordance with HHS State of Iowa licensing regulations and center policies.</li><li>Maintain accurate records including daily reports, attendance, incident reports, and developmental observations.</li><li>Collaborate with team members and leadership to implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early learning standards.</li><li>Follow health and safety procedures, including sanitizing toys and surfaces and maintaining proper hygiene practices.</li><li>Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>18 Years or Older</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.</li><li>Complete and Pass both Federal &amp; State Background checks</li><li>Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Mandatory Reporter (or willingness to obtain upon hire).</li><li>Knowledge of child development and appropriate caregiving techniques.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and engage in physical activity with children.</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Compensation:<ul><li>Hours: 8.5 hour shifts - 1/2 hour lunch break</li><li>Compensation: Based on experience and education</li><li>Benefits: Paid time off, health insurance, childcare assistance, dental insurance, 401K retirement.</li></ul>To Apply: Please submit your resume, cover letter and completed application to Tarra Stangl at tarra.stangl@crxcs.orgJob Type: Full- TimePay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Schedule: 7:00-3:30pm<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>No nights</li><li>No weekends</li></ul>Work Location: In personJoin us in making a difference in the lives of children by providing them with the foundation they need for lifelong learning!Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
