Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Mandarine Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves guiding children through engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education or related fields. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students&rsquo; growth while fostering a love for learning beyond the classroom.Duties<ul><li>Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support childhood development and learning objectives.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior to create a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment.</li><li>Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.</li><li>Incorporate creative arts, sports, theater, or other extracurricular activities to enrich the students&rsquo; experience.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavioral updates.</li><li>Maintain organized records of student participation, behavior, and developmental milestones.</li><li>Collaborate with other staff members to develop curriculum plans and special programs.</li><li>Provide basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all children.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong classroom management and behavior management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere.</li><li>Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.</li><li>Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods including theater, sports coaching, or arts &amp; crafts.</li><li>First aid certification is preferred; training can be provided if needed.</li><li>Experience with special education needs or Christian counseling is a plus but not required.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for nurturing young learners&rsquo; growth and curiosity.</li><li>This role is ideal for individuals passionate about children education and Mandarine who enjoy working in dynamic environments that support children's development both academically and socially.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hourExpected hours: 4 per weekWork Location: In person
