 Position Overview
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and supervising all commissioning activities across the project lifecycle for ELV, security systems, electrical, mechanical, or multi-disciplinary packages. The role ensures that systems are tested, validated, and handed over in accordance with project specifications, client standards (Aramco/HCIS/EPC), and operational requirements.

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Commissioning Planning &amp; Strategy
 
 
 
 &bull; Develop the overall commissioning plan, procedures, schedules, and resource requirements.
 
 
 &bull; Define system boundaries, commissioning stages, and ITPs in alignment with project specifications.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and QA/QC teams to ensure readiness.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 2. Pre-Commissioning Activities
 
 
 
 &bull; Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, vendor documentation, FAT reports, and method statements.
 
 
 &bull; Verify installation completion through inspections, punch lists, and readiness checklists.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure proper calibration, configuration, and connectivity of devices before functional testing.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 3. System Commissioning &amp; Testing
 
 
 
 &bull; Lead implementation of commissioning tests such as functionality, integration, performance, and reliability tests.
 
 
 &bull; Supervise commissioning technicians and subcontractors to ensure proper execution.
 
 
 &bull; Conduct system integration testing for ELV/ICT/security systems (CCTV, ACS, IDS, PA, Structured Cabling, Network Systems).
 
 
 &bull; Review and validate test results and logs and ensure compliance with standards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 4. Client Coordination &amp; Approvals
 
 
 
 &bull; Interface with client representatives (Aramco PMT, HCIS, EPC, Consultant) for inspections, approvals, and sign-offs.
 
 
 &bull; Lead SAT (Site Acceptance Test) and demonstrate system functionalities.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate with stakeholders to close NCRs, punch points, and ensure system acceptance.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 5. Documentation &amp; Reporting
 
 
 
 &bull; Prepare commissioning dossiers, test reports, checklists, red-line/as-built inputs, and turnover packages.
 
 
 &bull; Maintain daily commissioning logs, progress trackers, and compliance reports.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure documentation aligns with Aramco, HCIS, or project-specific templates and requirements.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 6. Handover &amp; Post-Commissioning Support
 
 
 
 &bull; Achieve mechanical completion (MC), pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final acceptance milestones.
 
 
 &bull; Support training for end-users and O&amp;M teams.
 
 
 &bull; Assist in system optimization, troubleshooting, and warranty-related activities post-handover.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Skills
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Educational Requirements
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics/Communication Engineering, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
 
 
 
 Experience Requirements
 
 
 
 &bull; 5-7 years of experience in commissioning activities for ELV, ICT, security systems, electrical, or industrial projects.
 
 
 &bull; Experience with Aramco/HCIS/SABIC/NEOM projects is preferred.
 
 
 &bull; Prior exposure to commissioning large-scale integrated security systems is an added advantage.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Technical Competencies
 
 
 
 &bull; Strong knowledge of commissioning methodologies, testing tools, and system integration practices.
 
 
 &bull; Expertise in ELV/security systems: CCTV, ACS, F&amp;G, Radar/Perimeter Systems, Network/Switching, Structured Cabling, Servers, Storage, and BMS/SCADA interfaces.
 
 
 &bull; Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, network layouts, ITPs, and method statements.
 
 
 &bull; Familiarity with Aramco SAT, HCIS compliance requirements, and project commissioning standards.

 yThe Material Expediter is responsible for monitoring and expediting procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and delivery activities to ensure materials are available as per project requirements and schedules
 
 
 .The role involves close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, procurement teams, warehouse/site teams, and project management to avoid delays and maintain smooth material flow across projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
 
 
 .The Material Expediter will also manage logistics documentation, shipment tracking, vendor follow-ups, and reporting activities while ensuring compliance with company procedures and KSA regulations
 
 
 
 .Responsibilitie

 sMaintain and regularly update the Project Material Tracker with accurate status of PRs, POs, manufacturing, shipment, and delivery
 </li>
 <li>
 .Expedite suppliers to ensure timely order acknowledgment, production progress, and dispatch as per the project schedule
 </li>
 <li>
 .Monitor critical materials and proactively highlight potential delays to Procurement and Project teams
 </li>
 <li>
 .Coordinate with vendors to obtain production schedules, inspection dates, and shipping details
 </li>
 <li>
 .Ensure alignment between procurement delivery timelines and project execution requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 .Follow up on pending approvals, documentation, and material submittals affecting procurement progress
 </li>
 <li>
 .Prepare and circulate weekly material status reports to management and project stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 .Maintain proper records of purchase orders, packing lists, delivery notes, and inspection reports
 </li>
 <li>
 .Identify supply chain risks and propose corrective actions to avoid project delays
 </li>
 <li>
 .Support the procurement team in resolving vendor performance issues
 </li>
 <li>
 .Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and project requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 .Coordinate local material collection and transportation within the Kingdom, ensuring timely pickup from suppliers and delivery to the warehouse/site
 </li>
 <li>
 .Manage international shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, and transporters to ensure smooth import/export operations
 </li>
 <li>
 .Track logistics documentation (Bill of Lading, AWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Customs Documents) and ensure compliance with KSA regulations
 </li>
 </ol>
 
 
 .Requirements &amp; Qualification
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 sBachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
 </li>
 <li>
 .Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in procurement expediting, logistics coordination, or material control, preferably in system integrator companies or fast-track projects
 </li>
 <li>
 .Experience in local and international logistics coordination, including customs clearance and freight forwarding
 </li>
 <li>
 .Familiarity with KSA import/export regulations and local transportation processes
 </li>
 <li>
 .Strong follow-up, communication, and coordination skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 .Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and material tracking/reporting tools
 </li>
 <li>
 .Good English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage
 </li>
 <li>
 .Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities within project deadlines
 </li>
