Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to join our healthcare team on an as-needed/fill-in basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care at our Title X clinic. Your expertise will support our mission &quot;To provide compassionate care and education within a supportive environment,&quot; and deliver exceptional healthcare services, ensuring comprehensive assessments, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment plans. This position offers the opportunity to provide care for some of the most underserved patients while making a meaningful difference in the community.Duties<ul><li>Demonstrates flexibility in helping to fill in for absent practitioners, or to help during high volume work flow.</li><li>Ensures clinical compliance with state and federal laws, guidelines and regulations; maintains clinical records and improves efficiency and functionality of Electronic Medical Records system.</li><li>Assists in the implementation of the clinic strategic plan.</li><li>Demonstrates continuous improvement philosophy (self and others).</li><li>Is knowledgeable about national, state, and local issues affecting sexual and reproductive health and is proactive about these issues during meetings and other times as needed.</li><li>Respects confidentiality of patient records, treats patients with respect and care without bias.</li><li>Seeks and accepts guidance from the Executive Director and other clinic medical professionals.</li><li>Facilitates teamwork.</li><li>Delivers patient centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety, and service.</li><li>Works in respectful, supportive and collaborative ways with patients and interdisciplinary team.</li><li>Delivers patient centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety and service.</li><li>Provides patient birth control information, STI and pregnancy testing, education, and counseling.</li><li>Ensures continuity of care including documentation of patient charts within 24 hours of contact.</li><li>Ensures infection control guidelines are always followed.</li><li>Promptly follows up with patients as needed.</li><li>Adheres to the spirit of the LRH mission at all times.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Current DEA license</li><li>Wyoming Nurse Practitioner&rsquo;s license</li><li>BLS Certification</li><li>3 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting, preferred.</li><li>1 year of experience in reproductive health, preferred.</li><li>Must pass criminal background check.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Stand, walk and be able to maneuver in small areas</li><li>Possess gross and fine motor skills</li><li>Occasionally sit, bend or kneel.</li><li>Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</li><li>Ability to sit or stand to type for documentation purposes.</li></ul>At will position, PRN as advertised.Pay: $54.00 - $63.00 per hourWork Location: In person
