   Govern and oversee the organization's disaster recovery (DR) program to ensure IT system resilience and recoverability.
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide independent governance across Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), DR planning, testing, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  </li>
  <li>
   Partner with application owners, technology teams, and risk/audit stakeholders to ensure DR requirements are implemented per standards (ISO 22301, NIST SP 800‑34).
  </li>
  <li>
   Serve as an advisor to application owners for developing and maintaining application-level DR plans.
  </li>
  <li>
   Govern execution of DR frameworks, standards, and controls organization-wide.
  </li>
  <li>
   Oversee completion and maintenance of BIAs, ensuring alignment with resilience requirements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Govern DR testing, simulations, and exercises; evaluate outcomes and recommend improvements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain oversight of DR-related risks, findings, and corrective actions; escalate issues as needed.
  </li>
  <li>
   Support internal/external audits with DR governance evidence and documentation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending enhancements.
  </li>
  <li>
   Advise and guide stakeholders on DR planning and compliance with enterprise standards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate cross-functionally (IT, cloud, business continuity) for consistent DR implementation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Utilize strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills to translate technical DR concepts into actionable governance expectations.
  </li>
