This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping, gardening, and outdoor maintenance while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to ensure a neat and healthy appearance</li><li>Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance curb appeal</li><li>Operate hand tools and power equipment like shovels, rakes, blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and efficiently</li><li>Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering of plants and turf</li><li>Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth</li><li>Help with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques</li><li>Participate in seasonal tasks like snow plowing or de-icing to keep outdoor areas safe during winter months</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment and power tools for proper operation and maintenance</li><li>Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable</li><li>Familiarity with landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, and soil preparation</li><li>Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in various outdoor tasks</li><li>Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic horticulture principles to support plant health</li><li>Understanding of construction practices related to hardscape installations or outdoor structures</li><li>Ability to perform tree trimming, tree care, and general gardening duties with precision</li><li>Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols when handling equipment like excavators or other construction machinery</li><li>Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues on diverse outdoor projects</li></ul>Embark on a fulfilling career path where your enthusiasm for outdoor work makes a real difference!
