We are seeking a safety-focused, professional, and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our operations team in Augusta, GA. If you do not meet the outlined driving record requirements, lack airbrake/commercial vehicle experience, or cannot provide your most recent MVR, please do not apply.Key Responsibilities:Transport &amp; Delivery<ul><li>Safely operate a 26-ft commercial box truck with airbrakes for local and regional deliveries.</li><li>Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.</li><li>Load and unload cargo, securing all freight to prevent damage.</li></ul>Vehicle Maintenance &amp; Inspection<ul><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance and vehicle safety.</li><li>Promptly report any mechanical concerns or maintenance needs to management.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Safety<ul><li>Adhere to all DOT, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving.</li><li>Maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license and DOT physical certifications.</li><li>Consistently follow company safety protocols and use required safety equipment.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Complete accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and required paperwork.</li><li>Obtain customer signatures and delivery confirmations.</li><li>Immediately report accidents, violations, or delays to management.</li></ul>Customer Service &amp; Teamwork<ul><li>Provide professional, courteous service during every delivery.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other drivers.</li><li>Assist with loading/unloading and operational support as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications:Experience &amp; Skills<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience operating vehicles with airbrakes.</li><li>Proven ability to conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.</li><li>Familiarity with electronic manifests via smartphone.</li><li>Trucking or warehouse experience a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.</li></ul>Licensing &amp; Driving Record<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license (CDL preferred but not required).</li><li>Clean driving record &ndash; applicants with at-fault accidents or speeding citations within the past 5 years will not be considered.</li><li>A recent 5- or 7-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) must be submitted with your resume.
