Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support daily clubhouse activities at our golf course. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for members and guests while assisting with the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps operations running efficiently.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Greet members and guests, providing friendly and professional customer service</li><li>Assist with check-ins, tee time coordination, and point-of-sale transactions</li><li>Support pro shop and clubhouse operations, including merchandise organization and inventory tracking</li><li>Coordinate with golf staff, food &amp; beverage teams, and management to ensure seamless service</li><li>Handle phone inquiries, reservations, and general administrative tasks</li><li>Perform a wide range of administrative duties, including data entry, scheduling, filing, record-keeping, report preparation, email correspondence, and document management</li><li>Maintain and update member and guest records in internal systems</li><li>Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic financial tracking as needed</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse, locker rooms, and common areas</li><li>Assist with event setup and execution (tournaments, outings, private events)</li><li>Monitor daily operations and report any issues to management</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Customer-service mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude</li><li>Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems (preferred)</li><li>Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays</li><li>Interest in golf or hospitality is a plus, but not required</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to stand for extended periods</li><li>Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) for event setup or inventory handling</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay</li><li>Opportunities for growth within Fairfax County and golf enterprises</li><li>Employee discounts and golf privileges</li><li>A dynamic and friendly work environment</li></ul>Pay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
