We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Scheduling/Docketing Coordinator with paralegal assistant responsibilities to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a law firm setting and be comfortable managing a variety of administrative and legal support tasks across multiple departments.Key Responsibilities:Docketing &amp; Scheduling:<ul><li>Docket hearings, deadlines, and assignments for all departments.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date calendars for attorneys and legal staff.</li><li>Assist with cross-training in deposition and Independent Medical Examination (IME) scheduling.</li></ul>Paralegal Assistant Duties:<ul><li>Request and follow up on medical records.</li><li>Handle mail processing, including opening, scanning, mailing, and faxing documents.</li><li>Support case preparation and file management as needed.</li></ul>Administrative Support:<ul><li>Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely and accurate scheduling.</li><li>Provide general office support and assist with overflow tasks across departments.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment.</li><li>Familiarity with docketing software and legal scheduling systems.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li></ul>Growth Opportunity: This role offers the potential to expand into additional responsibilities based on performance and interest, including deeper involvement in deposition and IME scheduling, and broader paralegal support.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
