Paralegal Location: Melbourne Position Type: Full-TimeAbout the Position: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal with experience in Guardianship, Probate, Trust Administration, and Litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of court procedures, deadlines, and document preparation specific to these practice areas. The candidate will also need to have great customer service and the ability to work as a team. The offered pay will depend on the experience level at the time of the interview.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and file pleadings, petitions, inventories, accountings, and other court documents.</li><li>Assist with probate and guardianship administration from opening to closing.</li><li>Draft correspondence, notices, and discovery responses.</li><li>Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.</li><li>Maintain organized case files and monitor case calendars and deadlines.</li><li>Support attorneys in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Paralegal Studies degree/certificate preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience preferred in Guardianship, Probate, Trust Administration, and/or Litigation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Florida Probate Rules and court filing systems (ePortal, eFiling).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with case management software preferred.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive compensation commensurate with experience</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Health and retirement plan options</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented environment</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Associate (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
