European Bistro is seeking an experienced Line Cook to support back-of-house operations. This role is ideal for a skilled culinary professional who excels on the line, maintains high-quality plating, and works collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>Cook on the line for Brunch and Dinner with consistency and precision</li><li>Assist in setup and station preparation for all service periods</li><li>Maintain high standards of food quality, speed, and plating during peak service</li><li>Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards to ensure consistency</li><li>Support ticket times and help manage line flow during busy periods</li><li>Uphold food safety, sanitation, and Health Department compliance</li><li>Help monitor waste, portion control, and inventory accuracy</li><li>Communicate clearly with teammates to ensure smooth service</li><li>Adapt to changes in menu, specials, and daily prep needs as directed</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workstation and proper equipment care</li><li>Collaborate with FOH and BOH leadership on daily operations and quality goals</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>2+ years of experience as a line cook or equivalent in a professional kitchen</li><li>Breakfast/egg poaching experience is a must!</li><li>Strong background in an upscale casual environment</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure across all service periods</li><li>Excellent knife skills, culinary technique, and plating accuracy</li><li>Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and Health Department guidelines</li><li>Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Availability to work Brunch and Dinner shifts (as needed)</li></ul>Compensation and Perks<ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Employee discounts</li><li>Collaborative, team-focused work environment</li></ul>To apply<ul><li>Please submit your resume and a short cover note highlighting your relevant line cook experience, culinary strengths, and any special skills (e.g., butchery, sauces, station specialization).</li></ul>If you are passionate about cooking and eager to contribute your skills to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
