Duties:Must be able todo high end new construction plumbing, remodeling, and service. - Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.- Must work a minimum of 40 hours per week.- installation of oil and gas boilers.- installation of gas lines.-installation of pvc sch40 dwv.-installation of pex, copper water lines.-Must be able to solder.- Able to complete jobs. - Collaborate with construction teams to plan and complete plumbing projects - Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues. - Assist with remodeling projects by installing new plumbing systems or modifying existing one by code. - Read blueprints and schematics to understand the layout and design of plumbing systems - Utilize pipe threading tools to cut and thread pipes as needed - Perform heavy lifting when moving materials and equipment - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters or handymen, to complete projectsQualifications: - Proven experience as a plumber. - Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and components - Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately - Proficient in using pipe threading tools and other plumbing equipment - Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair plumbing issues - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various conditions - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving requirementsNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
