Roles and Responsibilities:Inventory &amp; Stock Management&middot; Maintain optimal stock levels of spare parts to avoid shortages or excess inventory.&middot; Track parts usage trends to ensure efficient stock replenishment.&middot; Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent discrepancies and losses.&middot; Manage warehouse organization for easy retrieval of parts.Procurement &amp; Vendor Relations&middot; Source high-quality spare parts from reliable suppliers at competitive prices.&middot; Negotiate contracts with manufacturers and aftermarket suppliers.&middot; Ensure timely ordering and delivery of parts to meet service and repair requirements.&middot; Stay updated on new product launches, obsolete parts, and alternative options.Workshop &amp; Service Department Coordination&middot; Work closely with workshop technicians and service advisors to fulfill parts requests quickly.&middot; Prioritize urgent parts requirements to minimize vehicle downtime.&middot; Ensure the correct parts are provided to technicians to avoid installation errors.&middot; Customer Service &amp; Sales (Retail &amp; Wholesale)&middot; Assist customers in selecting the correct spare parts for their vehicles.&middot; Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to parts availability, pricing, or quality.&middot; Develop strategies to boost retail parts sales and maintain customer satisfaction.Pricing &amp; Cost Control&middot; Set competitive pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining customer-friendly.&middot; Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to adjust rates accordingly.&middot; Ensure proper billing and documentation of all parts transactions.Warranty &amp; Returns Handling&middot; Manage warranty claims and returns for defective or incorrect parts.&middot; Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies regarding warranty replacements.&middot; Coordinate with suppliers for credit or exchange of faulty parts.Digital &amp; Software Management&middot; Use dealership management software (DMS) or inventory systems to track parts availability.&middot; Maintain accurate records of stock movement, sales, and orders.&middot; Generate reports on inventory performance, sales trends, and supplier efficiency.Team Leadership &amp; Training&middot; Supervise and train parts department staff, including counter sales representatives and warehouse personnel.&middot; Implement performance evaluation and skill development programs.&middot; Foster teamwork and communication between the parts department and other service areas.Technical &amp; Industry Knowledge:&middot; Strong understanding of automotive spare parts, their applications, and compatibility.&middot; Knowledge of dealership and multi-brand workshop operations.&middot; Familiarity with genuine, OEM, and aftermarket parts.&middot; Awareness of the latest automotive technologies and parts industry trends.Inventory &amp; Supply Chain Management:&middot; Expertise in inventory tracking and stock rotation techniques (FIFO, LIFO).&middot; Strong understanding of procurement, vendor negotiation, and logistics.&middot; Sales &amp; Customer Service Skills:&middot; Ability to assist customers in selecting appropriate spare parts.&middot; Strong negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and customers.&middot; Good communication skills for handling inquiries and complaints.Analytical &amp; Financial Skills:&middot; Ability to analyze sales trends and optimize stock levels.&middot; Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost control methods.&middot; Ability to generate reports and make data-driven decisions.Software &amp; Digital Tools:&middot; Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., CDK Global, AutoSoft, Reynolds &amp; Reynolds).&middot; Knowledge of inventory management software and digital procurement tools.Leadership &amp; Organizational Skills:&middot; Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.&middot; Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.&middot; Decision-making capabilities to improve workflow and problem-solving.Education &amp; Experience:Education:&middot; Minimum Requirement: Diploma in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.&middot; Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, or Business.&middot; Certifications in inventory management, logistics, or automotive parts management are a plus.Experience:&middot; Dealership: 5+ years of experience in automotive spare parts management, preferably in a dealership setting.&middot; Multi-Brand Workshop: 5+ years in a multi-brand parts environment, managing a diverse inventory.&middot; Previous experience in procurement, inventory control, or sales is an advantage.Job Type: Full-timePay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
