Roles and Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Management

· Maintain optimal stock levels of spare parts to avoid shortages or excess inventory.

· Track parts usage trends to ensure efficient stock replenishment.

· Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent discrepancies and losses.

· Manage warehouse organization for easy retrieval of parts.

Procurement & Vendor Relations

· Source high-quality spare parts from reliable suppliers at competitive prices.

· Negotiate contracts with manufacturers and aftermarket suppliers.

· Ensure timely ordering and delivery of parts to meet service and repair requirements.

· Stay updated on new product launches, obsolete parts, and alternative options.

Workshop & Service Department Coordination

· Work closely with workshop technicians and service advisors to fulfill parts requests quickly.

· Prioritize urgent parts requirements to minimize vehicle downtime.

· Ensure the correct parts are provided to technicians to avoid installation errors.

· Customer Service & Sales (Retail & Wholesale)

· Assist customers in selecting the correct spare parts for their vehicles.

· Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to parts availability, pricing, or quality.

· Develop strategies to boost retail parts sales and maintain customer satisfaction.

Pricing & Cost Control

· Set competitive pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining customer-friendly.

· Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to adjust rates accordingly.

· Ensure proper billing and documentation of all parts transactions.

Warranty & Returns Handling

· Manage warranty claims and returns for defective or incorrect parts.

· Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies regarding warranty replacements.

· Coordinate with suppliers for credit or exchange of faulty parts.

Digital & Software Management

· Use dealership management software (DMS) or inventory systems to track parts availability.

· Maintain accurate records of stock movement, sales, and orders.

· Generate reports on inventory performance, sales trends, and supplier efficiency.

Team Leadership & Training

· Supervise and train parts department staff, including counter sales representatives and warehouse personnel.

· Implement performance evaluation and skill development programs.

· Foster teamwork and communication between the parts department and other service areas.

Technical & Industry Knowledge:

· Strong understanding of automotive spare parts, their applications, and compatibility.

· Knowledge of dealership and multi-brand workshop operations.

· Familiarity with genuine, OEM, and aftermarket parts.

· Awareness of the latest automotive technologies and parts industry trends.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

· Expertise in inventory tracking and stock rotation techniques (FIFO, LIFO).

· Strong understanding of procurement, vendor negotiation, and logistics.

· Sales & Customer Service Skills:

· Ability to assist customers in selecting appropriate spare parts.

· Strong negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and customers.

· Good communication skills for handling inquiries and complaints.

Analytical & Financial Skills:

· Ability to analyze sales trends and optimize stock levels.

· Knowledge of pricing strategies and cost control methods.

· Ability to generate reports and make data-driven decisions.

Software & Digital Tools:

· Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., CDK Global, AutoSoft, Reynolds & Reynolds).

· Knowledge of inventory management software and digital procurement tools.

Leadership & Organizational Skills:

· Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.

· Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Decision-making capabilities to improve workflow and problem-solving.

Education & Experience:

Education:

· Minimum Requirement: Diploma in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, or Business.

· Certifications in inventory management, logistics, or automotive parts management are a plus.

Experience:

· Dealership: 5+ years of experience in automotive spare parts management, preferably in a dealership setting.

· Multi-Brand Workshop: 5+ years in a multi-brand parts environment, managing a diverse inventory.

· Previous experience in procurement, inventory control, or sales is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
