COMPANY BACKGROUND
North West Marine Equipment Trading (L.L.C.) is a leading supplier of marine products including Aids to Navigation, Marine Barriers, Environmental Protection equipment and other ancillary items within the United Arab Emirates and wider MENA region. SCOPE OF WORK
This position is responsible for managing the stores in receiving, storing, and distributing material. The role requires assisting in keeping accurate inventory balances and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with established policies and practices.
Main Responsibilities: (Listed in order of priority)
Key tasks and accountabilities are intended toguidethe range and level of work expected of the post holder. This is not an extensive list of all tasks that may fall to the post holder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.
1. Maintain list of stock on daily basis
2. Record stock movements using the prescribed system
3. Prepare material request forms for any materials required and forward to Purchasing Officer for action
4. Dispatch materials as per Projects Coordinator
5. Ensure smooth running of stores and ensure all materials are kept safely
6. Prepare material issue voucher, goods receiving voucher and other required documents.
7. Check quality of items entering and exiting store to ensure good maintenance and quality
8. Maintain list of equipment, tools and its condition
9. Provide daily report to accounts and sales on material movement
10. Take full responsibility for monitoring and custody of company stock and equipment
11. Checking material stock, tools and equipment availability
12. Assist in setup of automated stock system including re-order points
13. Ensure warehouse is opened and closed on time
14. Ensure store is properly organized and laid out including rack identification
15. Assist in re-ordering of stock as required
16. Liaise with Accounts, Sales and Purchasing with respect of stocks
17. Issue materials to internal jobs
18. Ensure completion of other works as per instructions & requirements
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
a. Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Word & MS Excel
b. Ability to work as Individual personnel
c. Proactive in dealings with departmental members & customers
d. Cost Conscious/Good Negotiation and interpersonal skills
e. A degree or equivalent education with previous experience in similar role
COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP
a. Should possess good interpersonal skills for dealing with all department &other employees
b. Should possess good teamwork skills
Ability to cooperate with authorities at all levels in the larger interest of the Department and the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
