This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and customer engagement within a dynamic caf&eacute; environment.Duties<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.</li><li>Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and food safety standards.</li><li>Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience.</li><li>Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support efficient service during busy periods.</li><li>Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly desirable.</li><li>Proven cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems such as Aloha or Micros.</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.</li><li>Experience in retail or food service environments emphasizing excellent customer service.</li><li>Knowledge of food handling procedures, basic math for cash transactions, and food safety standards.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.</li><li>Basic understanding of caf&eacute; operations, including serving techniques and food industry best practices.
