Barista Cashier

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and food safety standards.
• Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support efficient service during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly desirable.
• Proven cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems such as Aloha or Micros.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Experience in retail or food service environments emphasizing excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, basic math for cash transactions, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
