On-Target Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000 (Compensation is an estimate and includes base salary plus incentives, depends on skills, knowledge, education, location, and experience)
Position Snapshot: The Application Engineer provides technical support and develops automation solutions for customers, including troubleshooting, product selection, and programming. This critical role supports projects both remotely and onsite, conducts product demonstrations and training, and partners closely with Sales to align technical solutions with business objectives and strengthen customer relationships

A day in the life:
Solution Development &amp; Engineering<ul><li>
Develop system and application solutions, including motion architecture, system topology, and software design</li><li>
Create customer-specific application software and support full project lifecycle (prototype through commissioning)</li><li>
Configure and commission drives (VFDs, inverters, servo systems) and develop PLC/HMI programs</li><li>
Support testing, start-up, and field validation of automation solutions</li><li>
Capture and standardize application knowledge into reusable tools and best practices</li></ul>
Pre-Sales, Sales &amp; Customer Engagement<ul><li>
Partner with Sales to develop solution concepts aligned to customer requirements</li><li>
Provide technical support during pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, workshops, and presentations</li><li>
Assist in preparing proposals and identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities</li><li>
Build strong customer relationships and support overall sales growth objectives</li></ul>
Technical Support &amp; Product Expertise<ul><li>
Deliver advanced technical support to customers and internal teams (remote and onsite)</li><li>
Size and select appropriate products and solutions based on application needs</li><li>
Support commissioning and troubleshooting during system start-up</li></ul>
Training &amp; Demonstrations<ul><li>
Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical training to customers and internal teams</li><li>
Develop training materials, application documentation, and technical guides</li><li>
Support ongoing technical development within the Sales organization</li></ul>
Travel<ul><li>
Travel up to 25% across the region for customer support, sales activities, and training</li></ul>
Requirements:

What you will need:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience</li><li>
Proficient in IEC 61131-3 programming languages (Ladder, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram)</li><li>
Experience with motion control systems, PLC&rsquo;s, HMI programming and industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, CAN, Ethernet-IP, RS232/485)</li><li>
Strong mechatronics background, integrating mechanical, electrical, and software systems</li><li>
Skilled in machine commissioning and creating application/machine specifications</li><li>
Familiarity with wiring diagrams and troubleshooting customer wiring</li><li>
Preferred experience with Visual Basic, Windows-based software installation and setup</li><li>
Knowledge of machine safety standards and project management practices</li><li>
Solid understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, MS Project)</li><li>
Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight travel within North America</li></ul>

Position Snapshot: The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and executing Lenze Americas&rsquo; logistics operations including receiving, warehousing, internal material flow, and shipping. This key leadership role blends hands-on execution with strategic process ownership to build and scale a high-performing logistics function that supports manufacturing excellence and future growth. The Logistics Manager serves as the SAP process owner, champion of Lean initiatives, and drives continuous, data-driven improvements to enhance efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service levels.

You&rsquo;re results-focused, bringing an approachable style and data-driven mindset (SAP preferred) to solve problems, improve processes, and drive efficiency and accuracy. A day in the life:
Leadership &amp; Team Development<ul><li>
Lead, coach, and develop logistics team members, including supervisors and frontline staff</li><li>
Drive performance through clear expectations, KPIs, and daily management</li></ul>
Logistics Operations &amp; Material Flow<ul><li>
Own daily execution of:</li></ul><ul><li>Receiving and inbound material flow (inspection, put-away, system receipt)</li><li>Internal material movement and line-side delivery to production</li><li>Warehouse management (storage, inventory control, replenishment</li><li>Shipping operations (domestic and international, including Canada/Mexico growth)</li></ul><ul><li>
Ensure reliable material availability to support uninterrupted production</li><li>
Optimize end-to-end material flow from inbound through production to outbound delivery</li><li>
Balance service, cost, and efficiency, including labor productivity and freight</li></ul>
Continuous Improvement &amp; Performance<ul><li>
Own and track key metrics (inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, throughput, downtime)</li><li>
Lead root cause problem solving and drive sustainable corrective actions</li><li>
Champion Lean initiatives (5S, standard work, flow improvements, waste reduction)</li><li>
Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, flow, and inventory performance</li></ul>
Systems &amp; Process Ownership (SAP)<ul><li>
Serve as SAP process owner for logistics and ensure transactional accuracy</li><li>
Standardize processes through SOPs, training, and best practices</li><li>
Partner with IT and global teams on system improvements</li></ul>
Safety, Quality &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS standards</li><li>
Maintain inventory accuracy, equipment reliability, and audit readiness</li><li>
Partner cross-functionally to resolve quality and process issues</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>
Act as key interface between Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service</li><li>
Align logistics execution with production schedules and customer demand</li><li>
Drive cross-functional problem resolution to remove constraints impacting material flow and delivery</li></ul>
Requirements:

What you need:<ul><li>
7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)</li><li>
4+ years&rsquo; experience in supervising &amp; leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field highly preferred</li><li>
Proven success implementing Lean logistics systems (Kanban, pull systems, line-side delivery, supermarkets)</li><li>
Demonstrated systems thinking and process design capability</li><li>
Strong ERP experience required; SAP ownership experience highly preferred</li><li>
Experience optimizing material flow, layouts, and warehouse processes</li><li>
Track record of driving KPI improvements using data and structured problem solving</li><li>
Experience with domestic and international shipping processes (Canada/Mexico preferred)</li><li>
Strong leadership presence with ability to drive accountability and change</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive performance improvements</li><li>
Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively at all levels of the organization</li><li>
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with a strong interest in leveraging AI and digital tools to drive efficiency and innovation</li><li>
