We are a growing, fast-paced dermatology practice seeking an experienced Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys direct patient care, assisting in dermatologic procedures, and working closely with providers in a high-quality specialty practice focused on delivering an outstanding patient experience.The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a busy clinical environment. Candidates who enjoy teamwork, patient interaction, and expanding their dermatology knowledge will be especially successful in this role.Pre-Med/Gap Year Students encouraged to apply.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide direct clinical support to one or more dermatology providers</li><li>Scribe patient visits in the electronic medical record in real time as directed by the provider</li><li>Prepare patients for visits by obtaining medical history, medications, and chief complaints</li><li>Assist providers with medical and surgical dermatology procedures including biopsies, excisions, and other in-office treatments</li><li>Communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients</li><li>Obtain insurance prior authorizations</li><li>Coordinate patient care and maintain strong communication with patients, pharmacies, and other healthcare offices</li><li>Follow established clinical workflows, protocols, and standards to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred</li><li>Dermatology experience strongly preferred</li><li>Medical Assistant certification preferred</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment</li><li>Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail</li><li>Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills</li><li>Experience with electronic medical records preferred</li><li>Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused demeanor</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Travel<ul><li>Full-time position</li><li>Typical shifts are 8&ndash;10 hours</li><li>Travel between our Leominster, Gardner, and Hudson offices is required</li></ul>BenefitsFull-Time Benefits<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid holidays</li></ul>CompensationCompensation starts at $20/hour for entry-level candidates, with higher compensation available for experienced dermatology Medical Assistants/Scribes based on experience, clinical skills, and prior dermatology experience.Please apply directly through Indeed with your resume.Join Clearview Dermatology and become part of a team committed to exceptional patient care and a positive workplace culture.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
