This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer relations, and restaurant operations within a lively, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff</li><li>Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness</li><li>Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns efficiently, and ensure a positive dining experience through excellent customer service and guest relations</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards</li><li>Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as SpotON , Shift4</li><li>Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices in the food industry</li><li>Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and guest relations</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently</li><li>Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and handling cash accurately</li><li>Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential</li><li>Must be adaptable to various roles including serving, bussing tables, or assisting hosts/hostesses as needed</li></ul>Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your skills in food service operations, and ready to deliver memorable experiences that keep guests coming back!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryPay: $7.59 - $25.65 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
